Former interior designer Brett has compiled a handbook that will give both amateurs and experienced designers the knowledge needed to select and skillfully use tile in home interiors. The book gives an overview of patterns created with tile, the use of tile in various rooms, and the types of tile available, e.g., ceramic, cork, and metallic, but its real strength is its presenting hundreds of color photographs showing the variety of tile grouped by color with examples of use. Care tips, a list of suppliers, and well-illustrated instructions round out the information. Recommended for public libraries. (c) Copyright 2010.
