Review by Booklist Review

Anderson continues the Coulter/Harrigan series. Loni is a practicing Catholic but also a clairvoyant troubled with visions. When she discovers that the man of her dreams, Clint Harrigan, is unknown to him also the biological father of a small boy lost in the Oregon wilderness after his parents died on a canoe trip, she faces her greatest test yet. Clint, introduced in Sun Kissed (2007) as Samanatha's oldest brother, is a tough sell, but they find common ground in their mutual attraction, their genuine concern for the boy, and in the burden of guilt carried by each, although for different reasons. In Anderson's latest contemporary romance, she once again skillfully incorporates religious and paranormal elements to stunning effect into her tried-and-true mix of family bonds, heated sensuality, and a picturesque, if frequently savage, Western setting, creating another story sure to please her legions of readers.--Welch, Lynne Copyright 2007 Booklist

Review by Publisher's Weekly Review

Crusty Clint Harrigan (of the same Harrigan clan as Anderson's Sun Kissed), is, at 37, a Catholic cowboy who's sworn off romance. The arrival of a cute Catholic clairvoyant in his hometown of Crystal Falls, Ore., challenges his resolve and his skepticism. Seer Loni Kendra MacEwen, "still a virgin" at 31, is shocked when she bumps into Clint at the grocery store. He's the dream cowboy she's had visions of her whole life, and she has recently connected those visions to visions of Trevor, an endangered boy who (along with his protective Saint Bernard) was lost in the Shoshone Wilderness Area after a river accident killed his mom and stepdad, an Oregon senator. Loni tells a resistant Clint he's the only one who can save Trevor, and soon the hunt is on. Though pillow (and saddle) talk threaten to overwhelm the action, veteran romance queen Anderson infuses the plot with all the warm and fuzzy woo-woo of TV's Ghost Whisperer. (Jan.)
