Review by School Library Journal Review
Gr 3-5-Each clear, approachable book contains six chapters that describe the particular system, how it works, diseases, treatment, and more. A final chapter promotes a healthy lifestyle and educates readers on first aid and avoiding possible problems associated with the system. Health tips appear throughout, and an activity is included. These books are interactive in tone and provide plenty of sidebar material, along with color photographs, drawings, charts, and diagrams, and a fascinating "under the microscope" look at parts of the body. Filled with information, they are worthwhile additions, well suited for reports and general reading.-Jennifer Cogan, Bucks County Free Library, Doylestown, PA (c) Copyright 2010.
