Review by Horn Book Review

Outcasts Martin Pebble, who constantly blushes for no reason, and perpetual sneezer Roddy Rackett become fast friends--until Roddy moves away. Some of the humor may pass over young readers' heads and the coffee-table-book format may be a turnoff, but the simple, heartwarming story and spare, whimsical use of color in minimalist line drawings project a sense of timelessness.
