PreS-K-Through crisp, full-color photos and large print, these books describe some of the activities of people working in each setting. On each spread, a simple sentence or two explain who they are and what they do. The text is printed within areas of varying shapes, lending interest to the format. Suggestions for adults for using the books as teaching tools are included. These books introduce various types of work with the most minimal of details. The scrapbooklike layout includes speech balloons (""We are paramedics""), borders, and photographs along with a simple text that touches on various jobs and the tools of each trade. Questions within the text encourage interaction. Each book ends with a quiz. Glos., ind.
