He covers the lathe from top to bottom and offers advice on purchasing by brand and make and discusses machine varieties, needed accessories and tools, and maintenance and troubleshooting. More than 300 color illustrations show needed detail and highlight instructional steps. There are eight little woodturning projects at the end, mostly to assist in learning technique and tool use.
