Toselli's book will be useful for readers who wish to learn manicure and pedicure techniques. The author has had experience as a model and as a beauty and fashion editor, though not as an aesthetician. Her editorial work has appeared in publications such as Marie Claire and Elle, and she consulted for the What Not to Wear series on the BBC. Toselli includes information on hand and foot muscles and bones and massage techniques for both. The illustrations will make this a useful volume for the nonprofessional reader who wishes to perform home treatments and understand some salon treatments. There are clear, well-documented instructions along with data on common foot and hand problems.
