Pinky Dinky Doo Think pink!

Jim Jinkins

Book - 2006

Pinky Dinky Doo, an imaginative young girl, tells her brother a story about the day when her hair turned pink. In Pinky"s trademark story-within-a-story, Pinky wakes up one morning to find that her lovely yellow hair has turned bright, raving pink! When she discovers how and why, she and her little brother also learn that change, big or small, can be a good thing. Inspired silliness, with humor and interactive features perfectly pitched for its intended audience.

Review by Horn Book Review

In Fun, Pinky's brother Tyler makes a mess in the kitchen. Pinky tells him a story about making buns that rise so high they make the whole apartment building float into space. In Pink, Tyler doesn't like change, so Pinky tells him a story about waking up with pink hair. Though imaginative, the stories ramble, and the photo/cartoon drawings are frenzied.
