Review by Publisher's Weekly Review

When Walter's family tries a new remedy for his farting, the plan backfires when he ends up floating away, his belly full of gas. As with the previous Walter installments, the dog's malodorous problems end up saving the day. Colman's goofy digital collages match perfectly with the lowbrow humor that will once again "have children rolling in the aisles during read-aloud," PW said. Ages 5-up. Review by Horn Book Review

There's a wistful quality to this third book about the flatulent but lovable pooch, in which Walter floats through the air for days after his anti-fart treatment bloats him like a balloon. Though overly busy and surreal, the digitally configured illustrations capture Walter's uniquely heroic act of finally releasing his gas to blow millions of butterflies out of a windstorm.
