Review by Horn Book Review

Siblings Jack and Annie are summoned by the Ice Wizard to retrieve an ice-encased eyeball from the Frost Giant. The journey turns out to be more of a threat than the Giant. Illustrated with snowy black-and-white art, the plot moves quickly. An author's note reveals the Arthurian and Norse myths that were incorporated into the story. (c) Copyright 2010.
