Review by Horn Book Review

Each volume focuses on a raptor family, covering the various species in the group, habitats, hunting style and prey, courtship, nesting, and raising of young. The texts are sometimes confusing in distinguishing the habits of the different species, but the clear color photos, with many action shots, help with identification and appreciation of these powerful birds.
