With the exception of a Paul Bunyan play and a few others, most of these thirty-two adaptations of folk tales will be unfamiliar to children. The adaptations of the tales to one-act plays and puppet plays, with casts of four or more, are consistently appealing and will provide an introduction to the folklore of eighteen countries.
