In this silly story, a boy finds an egg and puts it in an empty bird's nest. When Mr. and Mrs. Bird return, they find the egg, which they keep warm until it hatches. They care for their baby but are amazed by Junior's strange reptilian habits. Libraries with battered copies of the original edition will welcome this new one.
