Gr 2-4-- The Alden children return , and are now visiting their cousins who live near an amusement park. Once settled in, they all take off for the park , and learn that the merry-go-round horses are very old and valuable. After receiving threatening phone calls warning them to stay away from the park, the children investigate and are lead into a dangerous situation. This is yet another addition to the numerous mysteries by the late author; it will entertain her many fans, and will undoubtedly create new ones.-- Elizabeth Hamilton, Miami-Dade Public Library, FL (c) Copyright 2010.
