K-Gr 2The "Young Cam Jansen" mysteries introduce beginning readers to Adler's popular female detective. With her photographic memory, Cam helps Annie find her lost tooth in the school art room. This fast-paced story with numerous full-color cartoon illustrations will appeal to primary-grade students and will serve as a springboard to the popular "Cam Jansen" books that are on a more challenging reading level.Gale W. Super-sleuth Cam (short for 'the Camera') Jansen fails to find her friend Annie's missing tooth. After much thought and a chance comment, Cam finally retrieves the tooth from the apple Annie had munched on, proving to herself and a skeptical classmate that her photographic memory and detective skills are still incisor-sharp. Colorful illustrations complement this latest installment in the engaging series. From HORN BOOK 1997, (c) Copyright 2010. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
