Review by Booklist Review

Children will enjoy reading along with the male and female narrators of these two classic favorites. A triangle tone provides the page-turning cues and there is pleasant, appropriate musical accompaniment. The second side of each tape also includes a variety of related songs, dances, and activities for participation. Both selections are performed professionally, with the contrasting vocal timbres enhancing the various characterizations and vocal numbers. These read-alongs offer quality children's material for libraries or personal collections. Ages 5-8. --Donna Pool
