Review by Booklist Review
Despite the acknowledged healthfulness of a good breakfast, most Americans still follow random habits that run the gamut from a cup of coffee and a doughnut to a full sit-down meal. Cunningham's book steers a course between these two extremes, offering plenty of recipes for sweet breads and rolls, inventive dishes such as fresh trout fried in an oatmeal crust, and an array of selections featuring the usual breakfast favorites including potatoes, sausage, and eggs. Various griddle entrees and beverages are also featured. These recipes will appeal to a broad range of cooks, both beginners and experts. Appropriate for all library cookery collections.
