Review by Library Journal Review
This is a current, geographically arranged list of 50 buildings or sites by Wright (1867-1959) open to the public. Each entry gives, as appropriate, street address, telephone, tour schedules and fees, and a very brief (50- to 200-word) statement about the listing. These statements vary in scope, intent, and quality. Save for Fallingwater, each entry is limited to a single page and a single photograph. Included are museums, private houses, public buildings, and churches as well as miscellaneous structures. There are no maps or driving instructions, which would have been helpful in some instances. Brief listings of archives and of collections and exhibits appear without explanation at the end. Useful, but very specialized; for the insatiable Wright audience.-- Jack Perry Brown, Art Inst. of Chicago Libs. (c) Copyright 2010.
