Bybee (the Weekday Brides series) launches a trilogy themed on yearbook superlatives ("Most Likely to...") of three friends, and how they've fared 10 years after graduation. Melanie Bartlett, labeled most likely to succeed by her graduating class in River Bend, Ore., is back for her 10th class reunion, with her daughter, Hope, in tow. Though she is somewhat embarrassed that she dropped out of college and is a divorced single mother, Melanie wouldn't trade her life with Hope for anything. Melanie has decided to move back to River Bend and is relieved that Miss Gina, the proprietress of a local bed and breakfast, has a job for her. When Melanie meets Miss Gina's contractor, Wyatt Gibson, she is surprised that the handsome younger man would flirt with her. Unexpected trouble crops up in Mel's life, but Wyatt and the townspeople pitch in to help her out. The romance between fiercely independent Melanie and charming Wyatt heats up even as outsiders threaten to derail their newfound happiness.
