UK-based designer Meldrum (Knitlympics: Knit Your Favourite Sports Star) focuses on knitting in small chunks of time in this collection of 60 projects that can be knit in 30-minute blocks. Some of the items can be completed in half an hour; others require additional embellishment or can be finished in a couple of brief sessions. Most of the projects are small toys, accessories, or children's knitwear (such as hats or booties). Standouts include the felted apple pincushion, the knitted bangle, the set of finger puppets, and the "string of birds" garland.
