Review by Library Journal Review

Tessellations are geometric patterns that repeat indefinitely. Gjerde's graded-by-difficulty projects are inspired by historic Islamic and European tile designs translated into intricate folds on a single sheet of paper. Mukerji (Marvelous Modular Origami) builds elaborate spheres and stars from many folded components joined together. Both books provide new challenges to origami enthusiasts who have moved beyond the beginner stage. (c) Copyright 2010. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
