As Michaels' Sisterhood series continues, our favorite ladies of justice are holed up on Big Pine Mountain in North Carolina. Still living as fugitives, they are increasingly resentful of Charles being in charge. Mutinous feelings only escalate when their first paying case comes along. Representatives from the World Bank are asking for their help in bringing down the unpopular and embezzling president of the bank without going through formal channels. The ladies accept the job, and when a storm holds Charles hostage, they enjoy calling the shots. Will this case be the beginning or the end of their new career path? Michaels' fans will not want to miss this latest breezy installment.--Hatton, Maria Copyright 2008 Booklist
