Review by Library Journal Review

This book by knitting and crocheting instructor Polk shows knitters how to combine novelty/luxury yarns to crochet spectacular modular garments and accessories using simple square and rectangular shapes. The problem for the average reader is that the yarns specified for the 25 projects cost an arm and a leg and may not even be available by the time the book gets to the library shelf. That said, the ideas and inspiration in this ode to personal style and fashion will make it an attractive purchase for public libraries in artsy-crafty areas. If books on modular knitting and/or free-form crochet are popular with your patrons, they will love this one. (c) Copyright 2010. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
