Sean Wang

Sean Wang is an American film director. His first feature-length film, ''Dìdi'', premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, where it received the U.S. Dramatic audience award. His documentary short, ''Nǎi Nai & Wài Pó'', originally premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival, where it won both the audience and grand jury award and then went on to be nominated for the 96th Academy Awards.

Wang is from Fremont, California, and is of Taiwanese descent.. He attended film school at the University of Southern California and worked for Google Creative Labs. He participated in a number of Sundance Institute programs, including the director and screenwriter labs. Provided by Wikipedia
