Rodrigo Santoro

Santoro at the 2017 [[San Diego Comic-Con]] Rodrigo Junqueira Reis Santoro (; born 22 August 1975) is a Brazilian actor, voice actor and model. He is the winner of several awards, including a Grande Otelo, an APCA Award, a Guarani Award, two Prêmios Qualidade Brasil, as well as the Trophée Chopard at the Cannes Festival, in addition to having received nominations for a Screen Actors Guild Awards, one Troféu Imprensa and a Phoenix Award. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Persian King Xerxes in the film ''300'' (2006) and its sequel ''300: Rise of an Empire'' (2014). Others include ''Brainstorm'' (2001), ''Carandiru'' (2003), ''Love Actually'' (2003), ''Che'' (2008), ''I Love You Phillip Morris'' (2009), and ''Rio'' (2011). He also appeared on the television series ''Lost'', portraying the character Paulo, and on HBO's ''Westworld'' (2016–2020) as Hector Escaton.

Known in Brazil for his appearances in soap operas, he became known internationally for his performance in the television series Lost and Westworld, as well as for playing Xerxes I in 300 and 300: The Rise of the Empire. Provided by Wikipedia
