Carden began her career performing improvisational comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She went on to make appearances in several television series, including ''Inside Amy Schumer'' (2015), ''Crazy Ex-Girlfriend'' (2016), and ''Veep'' (2017).
